Situated on 600 feet of remote shoreline on the breathtaking Sechelt Inlet, Backeddy Resort & Marina is the perfect location for your wedding, elopement, or special event. We provide unique and flexible accommodations, including individual cabins, inn rooms and geodesic domes, allowing your friends and family to stay together and enjoy everything the resort has to offer. Our sweet spot for private events is approximately 50 people. We can host weddings and special events for up to 50 guests total, including the ceremony, reception, and overnight accommodations. Our Chef Mike Denomey and his culinary team are eager to cater to your specific needs and provide your guests with an oceanside feast to remember. With gorgeous inlet views for your ceremony and reception, we would love to be the perfect backdrop to your special wedding day.

For groups looking to add a little adventure to their stay, there are hiking trails, scenic viewpoints, and local attractions nearby, including the world-famous Skookumchuck Narrows. Our remote waterfront location makes Backeddy an ideal home base for exploring the area while still providing plenty of opportunities to slow down and unwind. Let the Backeddy Resort become your private getaway for all your friends and family, with private access to our facilities, including all 7 vintage cabins, 4 luxury waterfront cabins, 4 Inn rooms, and 8 geodesic domes, the decks, our beach and forest. Unwind with your family and friends beside the oceanside fire pit just outside the cabins and create memories of a lifetime under the stars. Invite your party to take a scenic boat tour of nearby waterfalls, or a group kayak straight from our dock, complete with provided picnic lunches for a shorelunch. Or simply join together to take in the view from our oceanfront patio. Nestled between lush west coast forest and beautiful blue ocean, we are cozy enough for an intimate wedding ceremony or elopement.
